We had a presentation by Jess about why it’s so important, and talked about some influential women (Gemma Smith, Szilvia Gogh, Dottie Frazier, Sylvia Earle and our very own Kim Timmers)…
… then a cracking dive for the women at a local dive site, Las Eras, followed by a Beach Clean Up, and an evening BBQ! #Fantastic
On Women’s Dive Day it’s important to give a nod to those women who make a difference and inspire in the industry.
We would like to give a shout out to our very own Platinum Course Director Kim!
To put that into perspective there are only 11 female PADI Platinum Course Directors in the world! She is also an Elite 300 Instructor and PADI Freediver Instructor and that’s just a little of what she has accomplished.
She not only has helped change the lives of many people through teaching (all of team here included) but her strength and continued motivation help to inspire us all. As a woman she’s a beacon for what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.
